With over 20 years of experience in clinical trials and healthcare innovation, he leads NovoBliss with a balanced focus on scientific excellence, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability.

Under his visionary leadership, NovoBliss has evolved from a concept to a self-funded, growth-oriented enterprise, conducting over thousands of clinical studies and establishing a reputation for quality, credibility, and regulatory integrity. Dr. Patel oversees all aspects of corporate governance, strategy, and financial management, including annual budget control, profitability optimization, and capital allocation to ensure long-term value creation.

As a Principal Investigator and Medical Director, Dr. Patel designs and supervises clinical studies that scientifically substantiate product claims, ensuring compliance with global standards such as FDA, ICH-GCP, EMA, BIS, and ASCI. With over two decades of experience in clinical trials, dermatological testing, and regulatory science, Dr. Patel has been instrumental in transforming NovoBliss into a trusted partner for evidence-based clinical research and label claim substantiation across cosmetic, herbal, nutraceutical, and personal healthcare segments.

Under her leadership, NovoBliss has achieved consistent, self-funded growth—balancing innovation and profitability through strategic business planning, operational governance, and financial stewardship. Dr. Patel oversees the organization’s P&L management, ROI optimization, and capital efficiency, while nurturing a culture of scientific excellence and ethical compliance.

Her expertise extends beyond operations; as a Scientific and Regulatory Advisor, she guides the design of compliant, high-impact clinical studies, ensuring global acceptance through standardized methodologies aligned with BIS, ICH, FDA, EFSA, and AYUSH frameworks.

Dr. Apeksha Merja

MD Dermatologist

Dr. Apeksha Merja, MD Dermatology, is the Owner and Consultant Dermatologist at Enliven Skin Clinic, a position she has held since 2017. She earned her Master’s Degree in Skin and V.D. from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, India, and holds an active membership with IADVL (Membership Number: PLM/G/7610). Dr. Merja has a rich clinical and academic background. She served as a Consultant Dermatologist at VS Hospital in 2019 and at Parli Cosmetic Laser Centre, Ahmedabad, from 2017 to 2019. She also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Skin and V.D. at GKGH, Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhuj, Kutch, from 2015 to 2016, following her role as a Junior Resident in the same department at B.J. Medical College from 2012 to 2015. Dr. Merja has pursued advanced training, completing a Fellowship in Aesthetic Dermatology at Severance Hospital, Yonsei University, South Korea, in April 2019, and a Fellowship in Clinical Dermatology at Semmelweis University, Budapest, in October 2018. She began her medical journey with an internship at B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, in 2011–2012. A prolific contributor to dermatology, Dr. Merja has 30+ publications and has participated in 90+ clinical studies, showcasing her commitment to advancing the field.
